St. John Ambulance Cadet arrives in the Holy Land

Our sponsored St. John Ambulance Cadet, Lauren Wilkinson, has arrived in the Holy Land at the start of her placement with the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital together with her chaperone Sheila. We are pleased to have received her first report and a few snapshots of her experiences.

"We were met at the airport by Ravi, our driver from the hospital. After an hour travelling we reached the hospital and were shown to our flats, and we then went out to explore the local area. We enjoyed some local food at a local hotel."

"Day two started with us delivering a session of CPR/ Basic Life Support to the staff. We then had the opportunity to observe surgery and enjoyed a light lunch with the staff. We then finished our day delivering another CPR/Basic Life Support training."

We look forward to hearing from you again, Lauren!
